Here’s where you come in:
As Chief of Party, South Sudan, you will coordinate the implementation of all aspects of the program to ensure program quality and timely reporting to donors. S/he also provides strategic leadership and supervision of sub-grantees and sub-contractors while ensuring the security, feasibility, and sustainability of the program and contribution to Child wellbeing outcomes.
Requirements include:
- A Master's degree in related field or equivalent experience in grant management in developing countries.
- Five (5)+ years (depending on donor requirements) of extensive international development experience managing large grants’ requirements: US$25MM and above.
- Large scale USAID grant experience (US$25MM and above); multi-agency consortia.
- Track record of leadership: Senior positions held; demonstrable networking skills.
- Keen understanding of the unique political dynamics of the country and ability to work carefully and collaboratively to support the various political entities in South Sudan, as well as international experience in multiple contexts.
- Fluency in English required.
