Overview of position:-

CTG Global is a managed service company specializing in Recruitment, Management Consultancy, Human Resources support services and Monitoring & Evaluation in post disaster and post conflict countries around the world.
CTG Global provides services to humanitarian organizations, government, non-governmental organizations and corporate's that enables public and private sectors to focus on their core business and the achievement of their objectives in hostile and threatening environments as we provide a safe and secure environment for them to do so and alleviate them of their risks, crisis and personnel management problems.

Role objectives:-

Maintain the potable water treatment systems in order to ensure the availability of a clean community water supply (using a reverse osmosis treatment system).

• Maintain the treatment plant systems.
• Maintain and operate the filtering and chemical treatment processes.
• Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps, boilers, heat exchanger's and valves.
• Ensure an adequate supply of water for human consumption.
• Prepare work orders for servicing and repairs.
• Arrange for major repairs and inspect the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operation.

Project reporting:-

This role reports to the Supervisor.

Key competencies:-

Education:

• Technical Diploma obtained either from a Technical College/Trade/Vocational School or through an accepted national apprenticeship program; recognized and valid license to repair, maintain, troubleshoot and operate potable water systems.
  Work Experience:
• At least 5 years of relevant practical work experience in maintaining and servicing water systems providing potable water.
  Key Competencies:
• Ability to work unsupervised and to supervise other staff.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Clear communication skills at all levels.

Team management:-

This role does not have team management responsibility.
