MISSION
According to the organization plans for the South Sudan crisis response and based on the assessment conducted between April and June the main objective is the starting up of the process, namely the plan for initiating the project in Bor county and establishing an operational set up for MdM in the country
GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE OF INTERVENTION
The Juba city and Bor county (Jonglei South) in urban and peri-urban context
ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
The successful candidate will be part of the Humanitarian team and will reports to the Team Leader, as well, he/she will have direct technical link with Medical Coordinator in HQ.
FUNCTIONS
• Represent MDM at relevant coordination meetings, and bilateral meetings with local health authorities and partners.
• Gather information regarding the South Sudan Health System included HR availability
• Gather information of health partners different ways of programs implementation in country
• Assess, consolidate and review epidemiological data regarding South Sudan current health situation specially Bor County and provide an analysis, morbidity and mortality if possible to desegregate by age and gender.
• Work with the Team Leader in order to gather information to keep updated the 4 Ws.
• In collaboration with Logistician gather information regarding process and paper work needed for obtaining medical supply from others in country partners.
• In collaboration with Logistician gather information regarding supply chain, purchasing and importation process.
• To be part of the recruitment process of the medical staff
EXPECTED OUTPUTS
• Update of South Sudan Public Health situation
• Summary of Medical HR availability in country, included average salary scale
• Update of 4Ws
• Contribute to the Risk and threat analysis matrix
• Contribute to facilitate the registration process in the country
• Contribute to the supply chain report (Logistician to lead this process)
