As Operations Director, you will lead, develop, direct and manage all aspects of World Vision’s programmes in South Sudan: ensuring that the ministry achieves optimum impact on child well-being as well as attain organizational Vision, Mission and Core Values. You will ensure that World Vision South Sudan uploads the integrated focus of the organization’s ministry which is child-focused, community-based and also complements the plans of the South Sudan Government. You will ensure that World Vision South Sudan is accountable to all partners and that all work is of the highest standard, cost-effective and adheres to standards and policies of World Vision.
Requirements include:
- Bachelors’ Degree in rural development, agricultural sciences, social sciences or other development related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in relief and development work preferably within World Vision.
- At least two years senior management experience or middle level management experience.
- Proficiency in the English Language.
- The position requires a systems thinker an analytical and critical thinker capable of questioning assumptions and proposing suitable and practical solutions.
