The Purpose of the Position:
- To support day-to-day project planning, management and monitoring of service projects
- To support consistent high-quality project implementation
- To support our project development and support our existing programs in implementation and capacity building.
- To build and sustain healthy and productive community partnerships
Project Partnership, Management and Reporting:
- Support partners in program planning, implementing and evaluation in addition to organizational development
- Provide program support to the PIHA’s partners in executing high-quality project management and implementation
- Administer and manage our service projects with our partners
- Ensure that monitoring and reporting of the projects and programs are done according to the procedures and the values contracted
- Provide project renewals of partners reports and give feedback if necessary
- Assist partners in preparing project proposals and budgets
- Prepare periodic financial and activity reports to the regional government
- Conduct field visits to monitor the progress of the projects implementation and provide updates to CR
- Participate in evaluating project proposal for funding
- Participate in project review to develop effective strategies and operational planning
- Collect, compile, analyze and write reports about the project implementation progress
- Assist partners to refine their strategies to maximize impacts in a manner consistent with the proposal
- Assist any additional task assigned as required
Administrative support
- Follow *Partners*financial process and administration
- Administer community and partner communication - acknowledge receipt of proposals, regret letter, report requests etc
- Support CR in Office Administration
Experience and Qualifications
▪ University degree required in international development or rural development; Masters preferred.
▪ At least 5 years experience managing an extensive portfolio of projects
▪ At least 5 years overall experience, with a minimum of 2 years managing people and/or projects
▪ Excellent writing skills
▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders from various cultural backgrounds;
▪ Ability to work independently and to thrive in a small and grass-root oriented organization
▪ Experience in project development and/or grant management
▪ Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
▪ Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills an asset
Desirable:
· Experience in community development and capacity
· Experience in monitoring and evaluation
· Experience building and sustaining community relations
