South Sudan: Financial-administrative advisor

The advisor will provide technical assistance to one or more partner projects in the Equatorian region. He/she will be contracted as a part or full time adviser with a consultancy contract. In the long run this position may evolve to a regular long term employment contract. Priority will be given to candidates from South Sudan and Uganda. His/her duties are the following:

A. Financial-administrative advice to national partners:

1. Provide training and permanent coaching to the partners about the financial-administrative regulations of the donors;
2. Encourage partners to release project funds timely in order to ensure timely implementation of the project activities;
3. Monitor all bank movements, all exchange operations and all expenses in order to ensure compliance with the regulations of the donors;
4. Monitor respect of budget lines;
5. Participate in recruitments and tender procedures;
6. Advise on all issues linked to the management of assets.

B. Financial consolidation of one or more projects:

1. Receive and check all financial documentation provided by the partners;
2. Ensure that all financial and administrative documentation of the partners is compliant with donor rules, complete and well organized;
3. Organize regular expedition of financial documentation to the donor;
4. Receive and consolidate the financial reports of the partners into one single consolidated report;
5. Prepare and organize financial audits
